Dr Anderson is a 2016 graduate from the University of Georgia. After graduating, Dr. Anderson went on to further her training by completing an internship in small animal emergency, internal medicine, and surgery. Dr. Anderson’s professional interests include emergency, internal medicine, and ultrasonography.
When not working, Dr. Anderson enjoys trail running , cooking, enjoying local entertainment in Athens, and spending time with her pitbull, Rutledge. Dr. Anderson also has two very talkative cats who never make life boring.
Dr. Stephanie Kleine is a 2010 graduate of the University of Georgia. Upon graduation, she completed a small animal rotating internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta. She, then returned to UGA to complete a residency in veterinary anesthesia and analgesia. She is now a clinical instructor at UGA but is available for high risk patients and consults. Dr. Kleine's professional interests include anesthesia of the critical small and large animal patient, avian anesthesia, and pain management.
In her spare time, Dr. Kleine enjoys spending time with her husband, Kris and daughter, Catherine. She also enjoys yoga, cooking, and being outdoors.
Samantha graduated in 2007 from the University of Illinois pursuing a career with the animals she has always loved. With 10 years of veterinary technician experience, 6 of those as an RVT, she has also become known as the local "Cat Whisperer." Her own feline furbabies, all rescues, are the light of her life at home.
Dr. Kleine is a 2006 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been caring for pets in Barrow and Gwinnett County ever since. Dr. Kleine's professsional interests include performance dog medicine having served as an Iditarod veterinarian, senior pet care, veterinary acupuncture, and everything Dachshund.
Outside of Happy Tails, Dr. Kleine spends time with his wife, Stephanie, and his daughter Catherine. They have one rambunctious Australian Shepherd, 2 spoiled Dachshunds, along with 1 cat, and a very talkative parrot. In their spare time they can be found camping and hiking in the North Georgia Mountains. Dr. Kleine also enjoys listening to his daughter's band, running, cycling, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and working on antique air-cooled cars.
